The set of 20 gauge barrels are stamped with the matching serial number over a "2", have a single nickel bead sight, are choked full/modified, have 3 inch chambers with ejectors and its own forearm. The set of rifle barrels are stamped with the matching serial number over a "1", has a beaded blade front sight on a hand matted ramp, a flip up elevation adjustable rear sight on a hand matted pedestal and its own nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut forearm with Schnabel tip. Browning with two banners below it with one engraved "1878" and the other "1978". Barrels for rifles, pistols & smoothbore guns - Breech Plugs & Tangs - Buttplates & Buttcaps - Flash Cups, flash guards - Inlays, silver wire, thumbpieces, tacks, decorations - Locks: flint - Locks: percussion - Muzzle Caps, forend caps, barrel bands - Nipples, powder. ![]() The bottom of the receiver is engraved with a bust of John M. : for flint, percussion, & early cartridge guns. The right side has a gold inlaid quail in an engraved tree and grass wilderness scene surrounded by floral scroll engraving. The left side is signed on the lower rear "LACAMPO". The left side has a gold inlaid bull elk with an engraved wilderness scene in an oval with floral scroll surrounding it. There is a game scene engraved on both sides of the receiver. ![]()
